Session types

Drop-in Tech Help

Casual, welcoming pop-ups where people bring phones, tablets or laptops for short support (20–40 mins).

1:1 Bookable Session

A 45–60 min appointment for personalised help — account setup, video call practice, or tailored troubleshooting.

Small group classes

Short workshops on topics like 'phone basics' or 'staying safe online' — small, supportive groups with printed guides.

Home visits (where appropriate)

For people with mobility or access barriers we arrange home visits for setup and coaching (risk-assessed).

How sessions work

  1. Book or drop in: choose a drop-in or book a 1:1 slot online or by phone.
  2. Tell us what you want: short form or phone chat to set expectations (bring device and passwords if comfortable).
  3. Patient, step-by-step help: tutors use Easy Read prompts, repeatable steps and volunteer support for 1:1 coaching.
  4. Follow-up: simple one-page guides, suggested next steps and local support signposts.
