Festival Series

Queensland Digital Inclusion & Inclusive Communication — Festival Series

Free, community events that build digital confidence and inclusive communication for people across Queensland. Join practical workshops, peer-led sessions and hands-on stalls designed to make technology and communication supports easy to use and welcoming for everyone.

All events are free. Auslan interpretation and accessible formats are available on request — contact us to make arrangements.

About the Festival Series

EduLinked's Queensland Festival Series brings together free, community-facing events that promote digital inclusion and accessible communication. The festival series is intentionally practical — sessions prioritise hands-on learning, low-barrier participation and dignity-centred practice so people walk away with confidence and usable skills.

We partner with local libraries, community organisations and councils to design events that respond to real community needs. If you're interested in hosting, partnering or presenting, see the section below on hosting and partnerships.

How to participate

Attend

Browse upcoming events and register for sessions that interest you. Most sessions are short and practical — sign-up helps organisers plan for accessible formats and Auslan support.

Host or present

If your organisation wants to host or present a session, we make it simple: we provide facilitator guides, accessible templates and local outreach advice so your event is inclusive and practical. Start a partnership via Start a Partnership.

Volunteer

We welcome volunteers who can help with event logistics, device help and community outreach. Email founder@edulinked.com.au with "volunteer" in the subject line.

Hosts & Partners

We partner with libraries, councils and community organisations across Queensland. Partners provide venues, local promotion and grassroots knowledge — EduLinked provides program design, accessibility guidance and facilitator support.

Partner A

Local library network

Partner B

Community hub

Partner C

Council / local government

If you'd like your organisation listed as a partner, start a partnership and we'll send the partnership brief and next steps.

Accessibility & supports

Festival events follow an accessibility-first approach. We aim to make attendance and participation simple and dignified for everyone. Common supports include:

  • Auslan interpretation on request
  • Captioned videos and transcripts
  • Quiet spaces and sensory supports
  • Plain language materials and large print

When you register for an event, let us know any access requirements so we can plan and respond. If you need a specific format (e.g. Auslan, large print or editable Word files), include this in your registration or contact us directly.
