Amplify Youth
Follow Amplify Youth from the first Video Voices Lab activities through project reporting, accessible media production and the next stages of community delivery.
Amplify Youth is developing through connected stages rather than as one single event.
The initial Amplify Youth workshop stage was developed around Queensland Youth Week in April 2026.
This stage generated practical project learning, photographs, media resources and material that can inform later Amplify Youth delivery.
Project materials continue to be organised, captioned and prepared in accessible formats.
This includes Easy Read resources and work associated with captioning and Auslan-supported content.
Project records, expenditure information and evidence are being organised for reporting and grant acquittal.
A further Amplify Youth program has been developed for Logan, with a proposed project period from 3 August 2026 to 30 July 2027.
This stage extends the model through accessible creative media workshops for young people in Logan.
These activities are part of the current development and follow-up work.
Some future activities depend on funding, venue availability and final arrangements.
An Ipswich screening pathway has been explored through the 2026 RADF Major Projects application RADF_26_MP029.
A Logan screening pathway has also been developed through the Amplify Youth — Spectrum of Becoming Program Doco Community Screenings application.
