Activity: Review One Digital Touchpoint

Choose one website page, form, file, message or other digital touchpoint from your own context. Review it and choose one practical improvement.

Activity steps

  1. Choose one digital touchpoint.

    This could be a website page, online form, PDF, email, video, booking system, social post, file or online instruction.

  2. Describe what the person is trying to do.

    For example: read information, complete a form, download a file, respond to a message, make a booking or ask for support.

  3. Record what works well.

    Notice strengths before problems.

  4. Identify one or more digital barriers.

    Look for issues with headings, contrast, alt text, captions, transcripts, forms, links, PDFs, navigation or response options.

  5. Choose one priority issue.

    Pick one issue that would make a meaningful difference and is realistic to improve.

  6. Choose one practical improvement.

    Write the next step clearly so it can be acted on.
