Host a secure pickup/drop-off point, accept referrals and help people register for Be Connected
We partner with community organisations to create accessible digital lending points, ensuring that older people — regardless of background, ability, or technical experience — can stay connected and participate fully in our digital world.
Provide an important local service with low effort: hosts accept pickups, display posters and support light referrals.
Be acknowledged in project materials and the final report.
Help older people stay connected, reduce isolation and access essential online services.
Accept device pickup/drop-off during agreed opening hours and store devices securely.
Display a small poster and accept referrals from patrons.
Assist with assisted registration where possible, or allow EduLinked to run short assisted sign-up sessions.
Training, a short SOP for handling devices (including full factory reset between loans), secure device containers, poster and promotional materials, the Device Loan Agreement template and evidence of insurance.
Together, we can bridge the digital divide. By hosting a Digital Lending Library, you become a vital connection point that helps older people stay connected, access essential services, and participate fully in our digital world.
Help older people in our community access the internet and online learning by hosting a simple, low-burden device pickup point. We offer two easy hosting models:
We run one scheduled clinic each month at your venue for people to collect and return tablets.
"This model works perfectly for our community center - predictable timing and minimal staff involvement."
— Local Community Partner
You take referrals and we post devices to the borrower so people who live far away can still participate.
"Perfect for reaching rural communities - we just make the referral and EduLinked handles the rest."
— Regional Service Provider
Both models are designed to be low-effort for hosts. EduLinked does the technical work: device setup, induction, cleaning, full factory resets between loans and insurance.
"Important funder facts are provided so we can easily report on our partnership impact."
— Partner Organization
A simple one-page guide to the hosting process from setup to completion.
• Agree a clinic date/time (local) or referral process (regional)
• EduLinked delivers a lockable container and poster (local) or provides referral forms and instructions (regional)
• EduLinked runs a 15–30 minute orientation with your nominated staff or volunteer
• Host opens the container at agreed time, greets borrower (optional), hands container to EduLinked staff
• EduLinked completes sign-out, induction and borrower paperwork
• For postal: host sends referral details to EduLinked; EduLinked confirms tracking details when device is sent
• EduLinked collects the container or the borrower returns the device to the host
• EduLinked does cleaning + full factory reset and prepares device for the next person
• Host keeps a one-line confirmation email as record (EduLinked keeps the loan log)
Key documents EduLinked provides: One-page Hosting MOU (simple sign & return), Staff SOP: how to open container safely, sign-in/out, and where to store device, Poster and social media tiles, Certificate of Currency (insurance) on request.
