Accessibility Statement

Accessibility is part of how EduLinked works

EduLinked is committed to making our website, digital services, learning resources, and communication pathways accessible to as many people as possible, including disabled people, neurodivergent people, people using assistive technologies, and people who need information in alternative formats.

We aim to provide a clear, usable, and respectful experience for every visitor. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing governance responsibility, not a one-time compliance task.

Our current accessibility target

We are working toward alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across the public EduLinked website and related digital materials.

  • We use semantic page structure, headings, labels, and landmarks to support screen reader navigation.
  • We aim for clear colour contrast, visible focus states, and keyboard-accessible interactions.
  • We write in plain language where possible and provide clearer pathways for people who need support.
  • We review accessibility as part of design, content, development, and governance decisions.

Some areas of the site may still be under review while the refreshed EduLinked website is being developed. Where we identify a barrier, we will prioritise practical fixes and provide an accessible alternative pathway where needed.

Access support and alternative formats

You can request information or support in a format that works better for you. This may include:

  • plain-language summaries;
  • large print or screen-reader-friendly documents;
  • captioned or transcribed video meetings;
  • AUSLAN or other interpreting support;
  • live captioning for meetings;
  • telephone, relay, or text-based communication options.

To request access support, email founder@edulinked.com.au or use our accessibility scheduling page.

Report an accessibility issue

We welcome accessibility feedback, including reports about barriers, unclear content, inaccessible documents, forms that are hard to use, or pages that do not work well with assistive technology.

When you contact us, it helps if you can include:

  • the page or document you were trying to use;
  • what happened and what you expected to happen;
  • the device, browser, or assistive technology you were using, if you are comfortable sharing this;
  • the best way for us to respond to you.

Email founder@edulinked.com.au with the subject line "Accessibility feedback", or use the contact form and choose "Accessibility feedback". We aim to acknowledge accessibility enquiries within two business days.

Known limitations and ongoing improvement

EduLinked is currently refreshing its digital experience. During this transition, some legacy content, embedded services, third-party tools, or downloadable files may not yet meet our accessibility target.

We are prioritising improvements that affect core access pathways, including navigation, contact options, learning content, forms, and public information. We also review feedback from users and partners to identify issues that automated testing may miss.

Statement review

This statement should be reviewed when major website changes are released, when accessibility testing identifies significant issues, or when user feedback shows that a process needs to change.
