Easy Read — Research

Research & pilots

We run small research and classroom pilots to learn what works. Our research helps make tools, guides and programs better for learners and teachers.

In short

Research tests new ideas in real places. A pilot tries an idea in a classroom or community group. We collect feedback and share simple guidance about what worked.

Why we do research

  • To see what helps learners and teachers in real settings
  • To make practical guides and templates that people can use
  • To build evidence for decisions about pilots and services
  • To make sure tools are accessible, safe and useful

Current research projects

Pilot at Classrooms

Short pilots in classrooms to test tools and activities. We check what helps students and teachers, then make simple guidance for wider use.

If you'd like us to add another research project here, email founder@edulinked.com.au with the project name and short summary.

How pilots work

  1. Agree aims: we agree simple goals with teachers or partners.
  2. Try idea: we run the activity for a short time (days or weeks).
  3. Collect feedback: quick notes and simple measures from teachers and students.
  4. Share guidance: we make short guidance and resources that others can use.

Ethics & consent

We always get consent from participants or guardians before we collect information. We explain how we will use data and keep people safe. We use short consent forms and Easy Read information.

How to be involved
