Free workshops for young people (12–25) to learn filming, editing and how to publish short, accessible videos. Easy Read and Auslan support available.
In short
Amplify Youth runs short, hands-on film workshops. Young people learn to plan, film, edit and share short videos that everyone can watch. We teach simple, friendly steps and give templates and captions.

- Participants who need Easy Read, captions or Auslan supports
What we teach
- How to plan a short story or idea for a video
- How to film well: framing, light and clear sound
- Simple editing: trim, order clips and add captions
- How to share work safely and with permission
Format & outcomes
Workshops are short and practical. Participants make a short video and learn how to add captions and make the video accessible. We offer Easy Read guides, symbol supports and Auslan scripts for key steps.

Spaces are limited. To join, tell us your name, age and why you want to join. Schools or groups can ask for a small cohort.

Support & accessibility
Workshops include captions, plain-language notes and Auslan signer scripts on request. We provide Easy Read templates and symbol supports so videos are accessible to everyone.
All Easy Read PDFs will be tagged and include language metadata en-AU. Auslan videos will include transcripts.
